polyurethane paint goldtop - 500ml can
Introduced by Gibson in 1952 on the first Les Paul guitars until 1958, the Goldtop is one of the classic finishes from Gibson par excellence and is loved by many of collectors, along with the ’59/’60s bursts. It was revived from 1968 to 1974 and was used on Les Paul Deluxe guitars, as well as on the seventies Les Paul Recording guitars.

Metallic polyurethane technology. Two-component, high-gloss finish with excellent consistency, hardness and elasticity. It allows to apply the colour in a very even way, giving a spectacular metallic appearance. Supplied as a 500 ml can plus hardener, mixing ratio 20:1 (for example, 95 g colour to 5 g catalyst per 100 g total mixture).
