multi-effects processor, NAM & IR loader + looper + interface, rechargeable battery
Your powerful and reliable tone commander
The Valeton GP-180 is designed to be both a powerful standalone processor and the central command unit of a modern pedalboard. Whether used as a complete tone workstation or integrated alongside favorite single pedals, it adapts easily to minimal or complex setups. On stage or in the studio, it delivers the flexibility and control players expect from a next-generation multi-effects unit, acting as the intelligent hub of the entire signal chain.
Upgraded modeling, professional-grade performance
At its core, the GP-180 runs on Valeton’s second-generation HD digital modeling platform with a 48 kHz sample rate for enhanced clarity and detail. It offers more than 200 premium effects and features a redesigned cabinet simulation algorithm for a more realistic and responsive feel. With support for Valeton’s SnapTone technology, users can convert and load NAM files, while third-party IRs with 1024 and 2048 sample points are also supported. The unit stores up to 100 SnapTone files, including 50 curated selections, plus 20 additional IR slots.
Modern hardware. A true command center
Hardware design matches the advanced processing power. A dedicated power switch and built-in 3000 mAh battery provide over six hours of operation, making it equally suited for rehearsals, live performance, and mobile setups. Charging is possible via USB Type-C or DC input, reducing dependence on traditional pedalboard power supplies. The right output features a balanced TRS connection, and multifunction expansion ports allow connection of expression pedals, external switches, or MIDI control for deeper integration.
Smarter software, flexible for any role
The GP-180 also introduces a redesigned operating system with intuitive drag-and-drop routing and expanded control options. Up to 12 effect modules can be arranged in any order, with 200 patch slots available, including 100 factory presets. Players can switch between analog and digital bypass modes, access a dedicated MIDI control page, and use a 180-second looper alongside a drum machine featuring more than 100 HD patterns. This combination of upgraded software and modern hardware makes the GP-180 a versatile solution for players who want both precision and creative freedom.
